    Digital pathology AI annotation is the process of labelling whole slide images (WSIs) and other pathology data so that machine learning models can learn to identify tissue structures, cell types, tumour regions and biomarker expression.     What types of pathology slides can you annotate?
    We annotate a wide range of WSI types including H&E, IHC (PD-L1, HER2, Ki-67, ER/PR, CD3, CD8, CD68 and others), multi-plex immunofluorescence (mIF), FISH, PAS, Masson's trichrome, and special stains. We also support all major scanner formats (Aperio SVS, Leica SCN, Hamamatsu NDPI, Zeiss CZI, Philips iSyntax) as well as DICOM-WSI.
    How do you ensure annotation quality for pathology tasks?
    Every pathology annotation project is supervised by a board−certified histopathologist who reviews the annotation schema, trains annotators, audits outputs, and resolves ambiguous cases. We calculate inter−annotator agreement (Cohen's κ) on every project and set minimum thresholds before any data is delivered. We also offer full consensus review workflows for the most demanding tasks.
    Are your services HIPAA and GDPR compliant?
    Yes. All data handling at Aya Data adheres to HIPAA (for US patient data), GDPR (for European data), and ISO 9001 quality management standards. We operate on HIPAA−compliant cloud infrastructure, require all team members to complete data privacy training, and can sign BAAs with US clients. We also support DICOM de−identification pipelines to remove PHI before annotation begins.
